About this release
Simona Edits introduces its first release with four sample-led tracks spanning disco edits, jazzy house and deeper club grooves. The 180g 12-inch moves between loose percussion, spoken vocals, saxophone accents and funk guitar loops.
The A-side pairs 1.1 with 1.1.1, before 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 turn towards warmer chords and late-night deep house. Each cut offers a different balance of familiar musical fragments and rolling house drums.
