Recorded in Tokyo in 2023, Fukushima brings together five original compositions by saxophonist Sinsuke Fujieda and his group. Fumiko Takeshita’s violin joins Fujieda’s saxophone at the heart of the ensemble, giving this Japanese modal and spiritual jazz album a distinctive instrumental pairing.
