About this release
GEMS revisits the mid-1990s UK tech-house underground with a split 12-inch from Sloth & Dormant and Three Brides. The release brings together productions associated with Pete Hurst and Jiten Acharya, combining deep house warmth with rolling, stripped-back rhythms.
Sloth & Dormant’s ‘The Light Comes On’ and ‘Here and Now’ fill the A-side. The reverse pairs the Original Mix and Dub of ‘Three Brides’, collecting two earlier releases onto one four-track record.
