Solid Space - Space Museum

Solid Space's Space Museum returns on Dark Entries for a 2026 repress. Originally released on cassette in 1982, the album captures Dan Goldstein and Matthew 'Maf' Vosburgh making inventive bedroom pop with drum machines, a Casio keyboard, Wasp synthesizer and guitars. Science fiction and Doctor Who run through its melodies, lyrics and homemade atmosphere.

The eleven original tracks move between minimal synth, post-punk and acoustic passages, with bright tunes offsetting the songs' sense of isolation. This edition adds Tutti Lo Sanno, the duo's adaptation of a Marine Girls song, and Platform 6, an early recording originally issued by their previous band Exhibit A.

Remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios, the LP reproduces the cassette artwork and includes a double-sided insert with lyrics, notes and photographs, plus a postcard featuring an original cassette advert.
