About this release
Sorry We Play Vinyl 5 collects three DJ edits on 12" vinyl, moving through soulful house grooves, old-school breakbeats and hazy, dubby textures. The fifth instalment in the Sorry We Play Vinyl series has a different mood on each cut, giving selectors room to move from an early-evening warm-up towards something looser and more percussive.
EDIT13 pairs a soulful vocal with stomping mid-tempo grooves, keeping things warm without rushing the pace. EDIT14 shifts into freer breakbeat territory with an old-school feel, while EDIT15 settles into swirling pads and a dubby low end. It is a varied three-tracker with plenty of space for the kind of transitions that make a longer set interesting.
