Sound Klash - Sound Klash 02

Stompa Phunk resident Sound Klash returns with two cuts built around a deliberately raw analogue sound. 'French Dub (Sound Klash Mix)' and 'Don't Turn (Sound Klash Horror Edit)' draw on samplers, driven preamps and tape editing, allowing texture and physical weight to remain part of the music.

The release follows the approach that has shaped Stompa Phunk's parties since 1996: house rhythms with acid energy, a taste for heavy sampling and a disco-dub sensibility. With one track on each side, Sound Klash 02 is a focused twelve-inch for sets that favour grit, movement and room for an unexpected turn.
