About this release
Quiet Storm expands Space Afrika's electronic world through a broad cast of voices and instrumental textures. Across thirteen pieces, Joshua Inyang and Joshua Tarelle Reid connect ambient detail with songs, spoken fragments and orchestral elements. Guests include Axelle Fanyo, Vanessa Bedoret, Alto Aria, RXK Nephew, Klein and Tony Njoku, each adding a distinct presence to the record. Kelly Moran contributes piano to ‘From The Heart Of Knowing’, and the cover uses Glenn Ligon’s Figure #30, with Ligon also providing the album’s title. Released on Dais Records, this edition presents the album on blue ripple coloured vinyl.
