Strange Fruit - Drips

Jakarta's Strange Fruit bring together motorik rhythm, shoegaze guitar and kosmische electronics on Drips. Made with producer Bernardus Fritz, the EP moves from the insistent pulse of Pouvoir Moteur to the spacious synthesisers of Iridescent and the guitar haze of its title track.

Four original songs occupy the first side, with Jonathan Kusuma, Tom Furse and Hardway Bros reshaping the material on the reverse. The remixes take the band's textures into acid-disco, downtempo and dub territory while keeping their atmospheric character. Tip Top Recordings presents this edition on heavyweight ultra-clear vinyl, limited to 300 copies.
