About this release
Tambores En Benirras returns to NuNorthern Soul with Alba Ámbar, an eleven-track double LP inspired by the changing atmosphere of dawn. Graham Newby draws together Balearic electronics, ambient textures, dub and downtempo rhythms across four sides of vinyl.
The title track introduces drifting vocals and delicate electronics before Bucanero Acido adds brighter melodies and undulating acid lines. No Se Me Pasa combines acoustic guitar, echoes and warm bass, while Batalla De Etiquetas connects dancehall rhythms with Newby’s background in downtempo beat-making. The album comes as a double 12" Vinyl LP in a picture sleeve.
