About this release
Todd Terje's It's Album Time brings his playful approach to disco and electronic music into album form on Olsen. Bright synthesizers and dancefloor rhythms sit alongside detours into jazz, samba and lounge music, giving the Norwegian producer room to explore beyond his singles.
Inspector Norse, Strandbar and Delorean Dynamite provide familiar points of entry, while Leisure Suit Preben and Alfonso Muskedunder show his taste for unexpected turns. Bryan Ferry joins Terje for Johnny & Mary, a reworking of Robert Palmer's song that adds a more reflective moment. The double LP includes an insert and MP3 download code.
