About this release
Panorama Vol. 2 explores French soundtracks, library music and instrumental recordings made between 1968 and 1980. Transversales Disques brings together composers including Francis Lai, Karl-Heinz Schäfer, Eric Demarsan and Jean-Claude Petit, alongside Oswald d'Andrea and Jean-Louis Bucchi. Moody strings, flanged drums and prominent basslines connect the selection, moving between funk-led passages and dramatic orchestral arrangements. Rather than tracing a single film or composer, the collection draws a broader picture of the period's cinematic sound. This LP is housed in a tip-on jacket with printed inner sleeves and extensive liner notes.
Format: LP, tip-on sleeve with printed inner sleeves and liner notes
