About this release
TD10 marks ten years of Batu’s Timedance label with a broad view of its approach to club music. The compilation connects techno, bass pressure and detailed sound design across established contributors and newer names. Rhythmically fractured pieces from Daisy Moon, Marco Shuttle and Verraco sit alongside the heavier half-step movement of re:ni and Lurka, while Ayesha, Lechuga Zafiro and Jabes bring sharper drum patterns. Pearson Sound, Bambounou and Batu add their own perspectives, with Polygonia and BADSISTA opening more melodic spaces. The sequence holds these different approaches together through an emphasis on physical low end and inventive electronic texture.
