About this release
Curated by Rosa Pistola, Dioses Tribales brings together key pillars of Mexican tribal music across an eight-track vinyl compilation. The record celebrates artists who shaped one of Mexico's most distinctive electronic languages, connecting regional rhythms, club experimentation and multiple generations of producers.
Produced by Sabotaje Media, Trucha Soul Records and La Chekera Records, the collection works as both a dancefloor release and a physical archive of tribal history. Ricardo Reyna, DJ Mouse, DJ Tetris, Freebot, Alfonso Luna, Clap Freckles and other contributors map the style's continuing movement and influence.
