About this release
Fruits Of Eros: Pleasures Of The Flesh brings together disco, synth pop and Balearic electronics on Secrets Of Sound. Its after-hours mood runs through both original productions and reinterpretations, with contributions from Ed Temple, Simple Symmetry, Lipelis and System Olympia. Ed Temple opens with soft-focus atmosphere, while Lipelis adds an Italo-leaning melodic pulse and System Olympia supplies a sultry vocal centre. Paresse, Guy Gerber & Desire and Jorja Chalmers take the second side through electronic club sounds and drifting textures before Gareth Anton Averill & Sobrenadar close with the shimmering, 1980s-tinged Paris. The sequence favours sensual melodies and unhurried grooves across its contrasting voices.
