Vox Populi! - In Dub

Emotional Rescue returns to one of its favourite collaborations, presenting a dub-focused EP built from the music of French ethno-industrial group Vox Populi! and reworked by Full Circle, Froid Dub, Krikor and Shelter.

The four artists reshape selections originally reissued or compiled by Emotional Rescue and sister label Platform 23, combining contemporary production techniques with a respectful approach to the master tapes.

Formed by Axel Kyrou with Mitra, Pierre Jolivet aka Pacific 231 and Francis Lafont aka FR6 Man, Vox Populi! developed from obscure drum-based cassette releases into fully realised albums and compilations on their cult Vox Man Records imprint.
