About this release
Way Dynamic, the solo project of Melbourne's Dylan Young, releases Massive Shoe, a silver opaque 12" Vinyl LP on Jagjaguwar that feels playful, understated and quietly luminous.
Blending minimalist folk-pop, art rock, baroque pop and soft psych detail, Young's songs are full of intricate arrangements, falsetto melodies and sharply drawn emotional turns. Support has already come from Waxahatchee, Elton John, Zane Lowe, Triple J and BBC 6 Music, marking this as a gentle but deeply charming indie-pop statement.
