About this release
Whodamanny combines Italo disco, Spanish vocal colour and Latin rhythm on Vamos y Energia! for Biloba. Vamos moves at a measured pace with a late-eighties feel, while Energia drives harder around its bassline. The B-side offers two differently titled alternate versions: Chocolate Dub opens the music into delay and feedback, with live mixer moves shaping the arrangement, and 1,2,3,4! strips it towards percussion. Written by Raffaele Arcella and mixed at Biloba Studio in Naples, the record features vocals from Clarita, Manny and E. De Simone, with guitar by Igor Sekulovic. The record was mastered at The Carvery in London.
