Xclusiv - Fools Are Friendly
PRICE £12.75 (£15.30 Incl VAT)
LABEL Phantasy SoundXclusiv - Fools Are Friendly returns via Phantasy Sound in a faithful reissue of the highly sought-after 1982 single, carefully remastered from the original tapes. Produced by British studio engineer Paul Jeremy for sibling duo Karen and Maxine Berlinski, the track is a cult favourite among collectors of obscure electronic disco.
The extended mix and instrumental combine slap bass, synth-pop sheen and off-kilter disco-not-disco energy, sitting between early Italo disco, US boogie and independent UK pop. An essential 12-inch reissue for DJs and collectors of rare 1980s dance music.
