About this release
Evil Graham Lee’s I Think I’m Alone Now explores the expressive range of pedal steel through country-inflected melody and spacious ambient textures. Known for his work with The Triffids and his contribution to The KLF’s Chill Out, Lee uses pedals and reverb to draw out the instrument’s quieter and more abstract possibilities. Seeking Beauty In Sadness and Nursery In The Beehive sit alongside the extended title piece, which anchors the second side. Bill Drummond supplies the liner notes, connecting the album with a longstanding musical friendship. The Isle Of Jura edition is pressed on 180g vinyl.
