About this release
Late Nite Tuff Guy reworks Idris Muhammad's Could Heaven Ever Be Like This with an emphasis on its rhythmic detail. A gradually building introduction teases elements of the recording before its bass line and clipped guitar chords arrive. The remix adds a more direct club beat, using loops and subtle effects to draw out the arrangement while retaining the original's musical character. On the reverse, the Original Mix provides the full recording alongside the rework. This Kudu 12-inch brings the two versions together, offering both the extended remix treatment and the source track in a single edition.
