About this release
Apiento and Alex Tepper open Test Pressing's TP Tracks label with The Yellow Place / Le Tour, a record built around bass, bleeps and modular electronics. MC Kinky contributes the vocal to The Yellow Place, with that version available exclusively on the 12-inch. An instrumental shares the A-side, leaving the production's rhythmic and melodic details in view, while Le Tour takes the reverse into a longer electronic arrangement. Written and produced by Paul Byrne and Alex Tepper at EZT Studios in London, the record was mastered by Ilias at World of Paint and carries artwork by Dan Lissvik.
