About this release
The second part of Implodendo In Una Accecante Oscurità continues Gigi Masin’s Lumen sequence with five pieces, numbered 06 to 10. Piano, vocal loops, saxophone and broad synthetic textures shape the music’s quiet, reflective atmosphere, with darker passages set against a recurring sense of light and openness. The material also forms part of the A Sad Song For A. CD box set. Presented here as a standalone LP on Silentes’ 13 imprint, Part 2 places Lumen 06 and 07 on the first side, with Lumen 08, 09 and 10 completing the reverse.
