About this release
Miguel Tur’s Junto Al Mar blends synth-pop with jazz and soul, giving its songs a relaxed, melodic character. Originally released in Venezuela in 1981, the album moves through soft synthesizer textures and gentle rhythms that have connected it with Balearic listening. Deja Vu Kid’s deluxe edition presents the music remastered, with archival photographs, liner notes by Micky Browne and a redesigned sleeve. Tracks including Sensacional, Tema X-2 and the title song form a programme of warm, unhurried pop. This edition is pressed on Galaxy Gold vinyl.
