About this release
Niños du Brasil's fifth album brings Nicolò Fortuni and Nico Vascellari's live batucada percussion together with electronics, punk energy and chants in an imagined language. Recorded and produced with Rocco Rampino, Ordem Micelial keeps rhythm at its centre while expanding the duo's instrumental palette. “Innaya Som” introduces a guitar-driven attack that draws out the hardcore roots of their music. Dense drums and voices form a wall of sound without losing their individual outlines. The album's imagery turns to underground networks and collective transformation, with artwork by Carsten Höller. Multi Culti presents the eight-track LP with an obi strip.
