About this release
Tonarunur returns to Hell Yeah with four pieces drawn from his production archives, moving between gently rhythmic Balearic electronics and spacious, reflective arrangements. Norwegian bass player Arctander features on both A-side tracks. Someone Else builds a mid-tempo groove around bright, 1980s-tinged keys, while Dawn unfolds through gently broken rhythms and floating melodies. The reverse turns inward: Lundur 1 combines shimmering pads with a drifting groove, and Lundur 2 brings a more grounded rhythm beneath delicate melodic lines. Together, the tracks connect the Icelandic producer’s dancefloor instincts with the more atmospheric side of his sound.
