U-Bend - Benders 007

U-BEND return for the seventh instalment in their Benders series, heading firmly back into sun-soaked Balearic territory after the success of Macareno.

Bent Rod is a wonderfully hazy, low-slung groover, built for that sweet spot where the final tune of the night starts to feel like the first tune of the morning. Warm, unhurried and carried by an instantly recognisable husky vocal.

On the flip, Broken Britain goes deeper and dustier with a hypnotic rolling groove and a simple vocal refrain that gives the track a little extra bite. Equally at home on a late-night dancefloor, at an afters or drifting out of the kitchen speakers on a Sunday morning.
