About this release
U-BEND's seventh Benders release pairs two unhurried edits with a Balearic feel. Bent Rod moves at a lazy tempo, setting a familiar husky vocal within a hazy, low-slung groove. Broken Britain strips the arrangement back further on the reverse, using a dusty rolling rhythm and a repeated vocal phrase. Following Macareno, the two cuts return to the slower end of the duo's sound, with one track on each side of the twelve-inch.
