About this release
Norman Gervais and Charles Bals compile SiRENE 89 for Periodica Records, gathering twelve selections recorded between 1982 and 1993. Synth pop, disco, funk and smooth jazz form a relaxed, Mediterranean-minded sequence.
The collection imagines the soundtrack to a coastal resort in 1989, with edits and additional playing linking its selections. This vinyl LP is housed in a gatefold sleeve.
