About this release
Riot Records draws four tracks from Balearic Headspace Volume 7 for this twelve-inch sampler. David Dingess opens with ‘Hyper Love’ in Toni Rossano’s edit, bringing a spaced-out boogie feel, followed by Jaegerossa’s ‘The Buzz’. On the reverse, Japanese duo Cruisic revisits Todd Terje’s ‘Inspector Norse’ through the Slowly remix, while FSQ closes with ‘This Is Carribean Disco’ in a Tom Moulton mix. The selection moves between disco, house and reggae-inflected rhythms, reflecting the series’ broad approach to Balearic music. Each artist contributes a distinct arrangement within the sampler’s four-track programme.
