About this release
To Cy & Lee gathers Alabaster DePlume's gentle instrumental pieces, bringing together recordings from earlier releases with newer material. The collection places his melodic, reflective side in the foreground, moving through saxophone, strings, guitars and keyboards rather than the spoken-word performances for which he was already known. Danalogue joins The Lucky Ones, while Visit Croatia and I Hope frame an eleven-track programme of intimate ensemble music. This IA11 edition comes on black 140g vinyl in a heavyweight reverse-board jacket, with a 12-page booklet of previously unpublished photographs and DePlume's new liner notes, an updated obi and a poly-lined inner sleeve.
