About this release
Dam Swindle reworks three recordings from the King Street Sounds catalogue, bringing warm basslines, melodic chords and groove-led drums to the label’s vocal house tradition. Arnold Jarvis’ Special Kind of Love opens the record, followed on the reverse by DJ Pierre and Simon Doty’s Come Together and 95 North’s Find a Way to Believe. The remixes connect the original songs with the duo’s deep house approach, retaining their vocal character while reshaping the arrangements around the rhythm section. Across the selection, soulful performances meet a more contemporary production feel, with each mix given room for an extended club arrangement.
