About this release
Baile De Máscaras moves from Bala Desejo's Brazilian pop setting into two club versions by Jamz Supernova and Sam Interface. The A-side preserves the edit they initially made for their own DJ sets, allowing its rhythm to build in weight as the arrangement unfolds. The B-side takes a different route, adding percussion and reshaping the song into a tropical house remix. Released by Mr Bongo, this two-track 12-inch pairs the producers' original edit with their subsequent remix. Both versions retain the song as their starting point while giving its vocal and rhythmic elements more room on the dancefloor.
