About this release
Rhythmption is Brain de Palma's debut album for Peggy Gou's Gudu Records. Alexei Versino, also known for his work as Panama Keys and in Stump Valley, moves between Balearic house, intricate drum programming, Italo-influenced synthesisers and trance-tinged passages. This eight-track vinyl selection includes the title track, Mind The Gap and U Ya Kwini, featuring Victor Kwality, before closing with Dahab Express. All tracks were written and produced by Brain de Palma, mixed by MarcoAntonio Spaventi and mastered by Lawrie Dunster. The LP comes in a printed sleeve with artwork by Jee-ook Choi.
