About this release
Charlotte Leclerc’s second album, Moiré, uses electronic instruments to explore human relationships and the small details of everyday life. Her French vocals sit among light machine rhythms, synthesiser textures and dub-influenced bass, connecting experimental chanson with electronic pop. ‘La Chambre’ combines airy synthesis with a restrained drum-machine pulse, while ‘Tango Charlie’ brings keyboard phrases into dialogue with the low end. Released by Paris label Delodio, the nine-track album moves from ‘Drama’ to ‘Trop Tard’, keeping Leclerc’s voice and intimate songwriting at its centre. The vinyl edition presents the complete programme across two sides.
