Chris Stussy - A Glimmer of Hope EP (Green Vinyl)

Chris Stussy brings A Glimmer of Hope to Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory, balancing swinging drums with spacious synth work. Central Frenzy opens with skippy percussion, a winding bassline and vocal chants, while Riva de Biasio adds airy atmospheres, jazz-inflected bass and acid accents. On the reverse, Deviant Shadow sets expansive dub chords and bouncing sub-bass against a firm four-to-the-floor rhythm. The title track closes on a deeper note, pairing swelling pads with metallic synth phrases and shuffled drums. This green vinyl pressing brings together four complementary approaches to Stussy’s detailed, groove-led house sound.
