About this release
Cole Medina, Love Athletics and Sleazy McQueen share the seventy-fourth Whiskey Disco release with three sample-based club tracks. Medina’s ‘We Call It Good 2 Me’ occupies the A-side. Love Athletics opens the reverse with ‘All Of My Love’, combining a vocal sample, a driving bass groove and hi-hats that nod towards ‘Sex Shooter’. Label founder Sleazy McQueen closes with ‘BSD (Brian Saves The Day)’, an analogue cut-up built around pulsing drums and repeated grooves. The 12-inch connects the three producers through Whiskey Disco’s approach to reworking familiar material for the dancefloor.
