About this release
Da Lukas pairs two disco tracks on this Groove Culture Seven 7-inch. ‘Doin’ Me Wrong’ opens with driving percussion and a forceful vocal performance, keeping the arrangement focused on rhythmic momentum. On the reverse, ‘Good Man’ shifts the emphasis to a prominent horn section and a disco breakdown. Both tracks draw on disco and funk, with a compact two-sided programme that gives each song its own space. The contrast between the vocal-led first side and the brass-driven flip makes this a complementary pairing within the label’s seven-inch series.
