About this release
Los Angeles selector and editor Dino Soccio follows his Pleasure Of Love series with four reworks for Razor-N-Tape. Star Beaming opens with an energetic disco rhythm, before Fred's Groove eases into a lower-slung feel. Laid Back brings a jazzy, Balearic mood to the second side, and Forgot closes with the bounce of early-1980s boogie. That movement between brisk disco, relaxed grooves and boogie gives the EP a varied shape without losing its shared rhythmic focus. This RNT052 12-inch places two edits on each side, collecting all four tracks in their vinyl sequence.
