About this release
Don Ray's Body And Soul returns from his 1978 album The Garden Of Love on this Spaziale Recordings twelve-inch. Produced by Cerrone and Don Ray, the song connects disco vocals with a percussion-rich arrangement that found an audience at the Paradise Garage. Stefano Ritteri's Balearic Trip version takes the first side, adding synthesizer work and rhythmic breaks while retaining the original's vocal and percussive character. The remastered Original Version occupies the reverse. This licensed release brings the album recording and Ritteri's new interpretation together, with one version on each side and a full picture sleeve.
Format: 12" vinyl single, picture sleeve
