About this release
Eddie Capone's Treatment returns on Freestyle with Only You Know What I Like, a UK boogie-funk recording from 1985. Previously issued on white label, the song follows Capone's work with the Treatment band and his own Treatment Records imprint, founded around Black Rock studio in South East London. This twelve-inch pairs the vocal recording with an instrumental version, giving the arrangement its own space on the reverse. Capone's background in reggae, soul, funk and rock informs the wider story behind the release, which brings the two versions together as FSR117.
