About this release
Ellery Cowles and Open Soul join Eddie C’s Disko Universal for A New Chapter, a meeting of raw machine funk, deep house grooves and acid. Cowles brings a background in Chicago house, including work alongside Lil Louis, Roy Davis Jr and Steve Poindexter, to the collaboration. Use Your Force and the edit of I’m Sorry occupy the first side, with Breakpoint and I See Zion on the reverse. The hand-stamped white-label twelve-inch keeps the focus on the pair’s direct approach to rhythm and club music.
Format: Hand-stamped white-label 12-inch vinyl
