About this release
Funkool Orchestra follows Latin Freaks with two tracks that bring Neapolitan disco, funk and Latin rhythms together. ‘Tengo che ffà’ combines the band’s vocal-led approach with a dancefloor groove, while ‘P-Funk (Dance with Pezz)’ places percussion and horns at the centre of its arrangement. The ensemble features trumpet, saxophones, trombone, guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and percussion alongside its singers, giving the single a full band sound. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Fabrizio Piccolo at Auditorium Novecento in Naples, this Maledetta Discoteca 7-inch presents one track on each side in an edition of 500.
