About this release
Goody Goody's It Looks Like Love / Super Jock brings two 1978 disco recordings produced by Vince Montana back to twelve-inch vinyl. It Looks Like Love combines guitar, Rhodes, strings and flute with vocals in an arrangement associated with Larry Levan's Paradise Garage sets. Super Jock moves towards a more spacious sound on the reverse, with bass, drums, percussion and keyboard passages supporting its vocal phrases. Montana's experience with MFSB and The Salsoul Orchestra runs through the instrumental detail of both sides. South Street Disco's official, remastered reissue restores the pairing, placing each recording on its own side.
