About this release
Glasgow duo Hot Towel opens its label with four tracks developed through the community party of the same name. Warm In Your Office draws on 1990s piano house, combining driving bass with gated snare and sampled percussion. Low Pressure In Paradise moves towards lo-fi beatbox rhythms, synth strings and a rumbling bassline. Last Minute Staycation adds flute-like synthesizers, cowbell and syncopated piano before shifting towards timbales and electric guitar. Endless Cosmic Procession closes at a slower pace, using tuned percussion, delayed synth details and a rising arpeggio to give the EP a more reflective finish.
