About this release
Jamie 3:26 brings his own Chicago dancefloor selections together on A Taste Of Chicago, a seven-track collection of edits drawn from his DJ sets. The Beverly-born producer connects house and disco through music by Chip E, Jungle Wonz, Quest and Calendar, alongside BSTC, Mighty Science and Braxton Holmes with Cabrini-Greens And Cornbread. Familiar originals become extended club versions shaped around Jamie’s approach to mixing and moving a room. The sequence offers a personal view of the city’s sound, with early house records sharing space with disco material. Released by BBE Music, the compilation spreads these edits across two records in a gatefold sleeve.
