About this release
Josh Ludlow, one half of Make A Dance, steps out solo on Rhythm Section International with Brain Music. The four-track EP moves into darker club territory, combining Detroit techno influences, acid lines and off-centre house rhythms.
The title track opens the A-side before Time Upside Down develops its bass-heavy, acid-edged sound. The Kettle brings percussion and a large synth bassline to the reverse, while Mean Mother closes with a Chicago-house-influenced workout.
