About this release
Jungle’s Sunshine brings J Lloyd, Tom McFarland and Lydia Kitto together on the group’s fifth studio album. Following Volcano, the trio continues to combine soul and funk with electronic production, layering vocal harmonies over tightly arranged rhythms. Carry On introduced the album, while Romeo II features a guest appearance from Bas. Across the record, the group moves between compact pop structures and groove-led arrangements, with the vocal interplay remaining central to the sound. Released on Caiola, Sunshine extends the musical partnership between Lloyd, McFarland and Kitto across eleven tracks, ending with Heavy On My Soul.
