Just What The World Needs - 14

Just What The World Needs 14 continues the label’s edit series with four tracks spread across a twelve-inch. The opening cut combines a driving rhythm with gospel-inflected vocals and expressive keys, before the second track eases the pace. The flip moves through jazz-led dancefloor sounds and closes with a more leftfield electronic approach. Funk and soul sit behind the arrangements, with synth details helping connect the four cuts. The release identifies its tracks by number rather than individual song titles, keeping the focus on the progression across each side and the range of moods available within a DJ set.
