La Compagnie Créole - Le Bal Masqué (The Reflex Revisions)

The Reflex revisits two La Compagnie Créole songs from the Zagora catalogue for this Discolidays release with Because Music. Working from rediscovered stems, he gives Le Bal Masqué a percussion-led revision that retains the chorus while sharpening the groove. La Nuit Des Requins follows on the reverse, bringing the original drums and bassline forward in a longer arrangement. Both songs were written by Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger, and the pairing connects the group's pop and disco sides. The twelve-inch is pressed on 180g vinyl, with a card sleeve designed by Al Kent.
