About this release
Lex Wolf brings four sample-led edits to Razor-N-Tape, moving between electro textures, disco rhythms and percussion-driven arrangements. ‘Get Into The Sound’ opens with a tough electronic groove, followed by the melancholic vocals and elastic bassline of ‘Russle Love’. On the reverse, ‘Warmer’ takes a darker turn with heavy low-end, clipped synth stabs and fragmented vocal samples. ‘Sendsome’ closes with plucked guitar and bright horn lines, giving the EP a lighter finish. The record follows Wolf’s work for the MAD Edits series and comes on 180g vinyl in Razor-N-Tape’s white-label design with a hot pink sleeve.
