About this release
Late Nite Tuff Guy opens the Tuff Cut seven-inch series with two soul reworks. ‘The Day Is Lovely’ takes the first side, drawing on Bill Withers, while ‘Love About’ follows on the reverse with material associated with George Benson. The pairing moves the familiar recordings into LNTG’s dancefloor edit format, keeping the emphasis on their vocal and rhythmic foundations. Both tracks appear together on this two-sided seven-inch.
